Күк

Etymology

From Volga Turki کوك (kök, “sky, blue”), from Proto-Turkic *kȫk (“blue, green, 'macro-blue'; sky”). In Ancient Turkic, this archetype seems to have had a wide semantics of "blue + green + similar shades", partially retained in modern languages.
