مۇئەللىمە • (mu'ellime) (plural مۇئەللىمەلەر‎ (mu'ellimeler))

1. (rare) (female) teacher

   Synonyms: مۇئەللىم‎ (mu'ellim), ئوقۇتقۇچى‎ (oqutquchi)

   ‏ئايگۈل، سىز مۇئەللىممۇ؟‎‎ ― aygül, siz mu'ellimmu? ― Aygül, are you a teacher?

There are three ways to refer to teachers in Uyghur:

1. مۇئەللىم‎ (mu'ellim) can be used for both male and female teachers. This can be used both indirectly and directly.
2. مۇئەللىمە‎ (mu'ellime) can only used for female teachers, and it is not commonly used.
3. ئوقۇتقۇچى‎ (oqutquchi). This can only be used to refer to teachers indirectly, but not directly to them.
