  1. (personal suffix) Forms the first-person plural present tense of verbs (indicative mood, indefinite conjugation).
    ‎beszél (“to speak”) + ‎-ünk → ‎beszélünk (“we speak, we are speaking”)
  2. (possessive suffix) our (first-person plural, single possession)
    ‎kert (“garden”) + ‎-ünk → ‎kertünk (“our garden”)
  3. (personal-pronoun suffix) of us (appended to a numeral or a pronoun)
    ‎négy (“four”) + ‎-ünk → ‎négyünk (“the four of us”)
    ‎egyik (“one (of)”) + ‎-ünk → ‎egyikünk (“one of us”)
